Ecstatic to be participating in this year’s Morbid Muse Gala. I’ve been to a few and they are a great time. I love all things Halloween, witch-stuff, and horror movies quite a bit, so this is right up my alley. I’ve previously attended and got to admire all the cool artwork from local artists over a nice craft beer and congratulate my friends on their work.
This is potentially the last year that this will be held at The Smokestack in Dubuque, IA. The owners announced that they would be closing up shop by the end of the year. If you haven’t been to The Smokestack before, I would highly recommend checking it out while it’s still operating.
I’ll have 3 submissions on display and available for sale. Not only that, but my friend David Tucker produced a horror anthology magazine titled An Assortment of Limbs with the support of the Dubuque Area Arts Collective. Magazines will be available for sale the night of the reception for $10 each, and any additional donations will go towards supporting the work the Dubuque Area Arts Collective does and paying designers.
So toss on a costume and join me on November 7th 2025 from 7pm-11pm! Enjoy a little art, drink a little bit, and socialize over some incredible work by Dubuque area’s talented artists!
